Its been a few months since I last posted. There hasn't been a whole lot going on really! Just enjoying the summer.
This past weekend Tony and I drove out to Chicago to site-see and see the Harry Potter Exhibition at the Museum of Science and Industry. It was part of my Birthday gift. I have recently become a huge Harry Potter fan. When the books first came out, I was not interested in reading them. When the movies came out, I only saw the first one and didn't think much of it. But in my final semester of college, Fall 2007, I had to read the 4th Harry Potter book for a Literature class. I was hooked. So when I heard about the temporary exhibit in Chicago, I really wanted to go for it! There were authentic costumes and props from the six movies that have been filmed so far. I really enjoyed it!
Some of the other things we did was eat at The Cheesecake Factory (it was my first visit, yum!), take a 25mph elevator to the 94th floor of the John Hancock building, sit at the shore of Lake Michigan, ride in a horse-drawn carriage (first time for that too!), and pick up a few suveniers along the way. It was a nice little weekend trip.
